Connemara Rentals is owned and run by Shane O'Grady and family. A collection of unique holiday houses based in or around Clifden Town in the heart of Connemara.
A family tradition
Both sides of our family - O’Grady & Coyle -have a long history in both the food, hotel and hospitality business in Clifden and Connemara. We took over our flagship property, Sunnybank House, from Shane's parents in the 1990s and developed it into an exclusive holiday rental property aimed at discerning groups of family/friends/private/corporate and wedding guests.
Since then we have followed our love of old and interesting properties and over the years have either renovated or built houses with the aim of providing well finished, elegant, comfortable and functional holiday homes. We also own Guys Bar Clifden, a busy and buzzy gastropub on the main street, a hub for locals and visitors alike, where the emphasis is on serving fresh seafood and local produce.
